On Blurt, witness voting works by distribution of your Blurt Power.

• If you vote for 1 witness, they receive 100% of your Blurt Power as support.
• If you vote for 2 witnesses, each receives 50%.
• If you vote for 4 witnesses, each receives 25%.
• And so on.

This means:

• voting for inactive witnesses dilutes your governance power,
• updating your votes is often more impactful than adding new ones,
• fewer, well-chosen active witnesses can be better than many outdated votes.
